The hotel staff was VERY clear about the directions for check-in after hours. Both of the reception staff whom I met were very helpful regarding restaurant options and general questions. The reception area shows some well-loved wear, and the carpet on the stairs to the second floor is well-worn. I thought that the ambiance added to the charm, and made me feel as if I was staying in an "old-style" hotel. My room was absolutely spotless, and well-appointed, with plenty of access to mains for recharging phones and tablets. The room also had a fridge and safe, which I didn't expect (maybe I didn't read the room appointment list). The property is located about three blocks from the metro, and there is a tram stop almost immediately outside the hotel entrance. There are many restaurants within either a short tram ride or within walking distance, as well as many different takeaway options. The hotel offers a (paid) car service to the airport with 24-hour prior notice. The mattresses were super-comfy.

During my trip to Vienna, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Baron, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. I booked a single room, which was both comfortable and well-appointed. The room had a warm, classic decor that added to the hotel’s inviting atmosphere. It was spotless and well-maintained, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like a compact desk, a minibar, and an efficient heating system, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff stood out for their friendliness and professionalism, always eager to assist with recommendations or any needs I had. The location was another major advantage—situated in a central area, with convenient public transport connections. Overall, Hotel Baron provided a wonderful experience, and I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Vienna!

Location was great! We could open the window and see the gorgeous Votive church and also the bustling night life of Wien below. After viewing this extra bonus, we put earplugs in, left the window open to the lovely night air and slept soundly on the comfortable beds. The room was small and was what we expected, with no surprises or hidden charges. Really appreciated the little refrigerator, as Wien has such reasonable, fresh food. Staff was polite and informative. The chandelier and purple color of the room was pretty cool as well.

The position of the hotel was exceptional. A metro just up the road, a 15-20 minute walk and you are in city centre, a pub opposite the hotel with super delicious food, Mc Donalds up the road. The room was large and clean. We had a balcony which was lovely. Staff helpful and communication was easy. They even organised the airport transfer for us which was quite comfortable due to our early and late flights.

Our room was wonderful and spacious. Because there are other businesses in the building, they don't seem to care for the entrance. I was a bit worried when we the cab dropped us off because the front door area was a bit messy. However, when we reached our room we were pleasantly surprised. There was a question about wifi- it wasn't consistent. Sometimes we would get it and sometimes we didn't.
